And glad we did because shortly after, we found another property (more right for us than the first) and David was there to expertly negotiate on our behalf. We ended up obtaining our dream home, under budget.

This August Josh and I got married. Three days later, we suddenly received word that we would need to move out of our current rental condo because the landlord was putting it for sale in a hurry. This was the push we needed to get serious about buying our first home together.

David got to work right away, organized a few days to see several homes. The market still competitive as ever. We went to open house where we were looking around with 5-6 other couples/families at one time, all looking for something similar. One day a listing popped up and it looked perfect….BUT there was a catch. They weren’t doing any showings for another three weeks and there were no interior photos. My husband and I knew what we were looking for and had a gut feeling that this was it, but knew if we waited three weeks, we had no chance against competing offers.

Dave made a few calls and presented us with an unconventional idea that we loved. Present a serious offer, with a condition of seeing the house. And that’s exactly what we did. We submitted our offer, down payment and all without stepping foot in the house. They came back with a counter-offer and we signed back, then saw the house a few days later. It was the perfect fixer-upper that we wanted…and the house was ours and it met our expectations!

Dave went above and beyond what we would have ever expected in a realtor. We would have never been able to purchase a property like ours without his brilliant out-of-the box approach.
